Just cold and it keeps raining recently, the foliage looks happy because the high humidity. I'm also happy with less blooms at the moment due to no need to worry about the rot disease caused by withered flowers which are easily affected by fungus in the cold and humid days. Such rot disease can easily destroy a plant within few days.
Just got few blooming seedlings from the same cross for comparison, the color representation has varied a lot after color gene recombination of the parent plants.
Variegated Kohleria is adorable for the eye-catching plant before their flowers show up. I was spoiled by growing variegated Kohleria over years because I start to get bored with the green leaf ones as the only expectation is the flower and it takes several months to wait.
Not sure how much explosion will be chain-reacted !? But their flower shape is nearly perfect for me in terms of calyx double Sinningia. Huge and Fatness ! พยายาม เข้านะ ! seedling grown by HTLiao
I show my xSmithicodonia Heartland's Joy today , this is an inter-genera hybrid of Ms. Dale Martens. Almost an year ago, I exchanged plants with friend and I got this one by return. It could be stronger as long as enough fertilizer had been fed during the growth, but I did not due to the worry of over-fertilizer in stuffy summer. The flower color is striking.
A lovely Eucodonia that has bigger flower when comparing to other Eucodonias. It is always a good plant in the garden and it grows well without special treatment or extra care. I used it as pollen parent to cross with others this year, hopefully to get the seeds successfully.
The Smithiantha seedlings bloom from now on, all these are my own crosses which were made 3 years ago. The coming days keeps cool with sunshine, it's absolutely comfortable for people and Smithiantha.
