Stone's Mini-Sinningia

My friend Mr. Stone started his own hybrid of Mini-Sinningia last year and got new interesting blooms.

Chirita Periwinkle

This Chirita is easy-growing and easy to flower, a nice and balance Chirita hybrid.

Neomortonia nummularia

This cute Gesneriad species is interesting, its flower looks like Nematanthus but totally different sort. Neomortonia nummularia is native in Central and South America.

Sinningia micans

This tuberous Sinningia belongs to Galea group (Dircaea clade), the special calyx looks like antcows gather together.  :-)

First post in the new year

This winter is chilly in Taiwan, no more subtropical advantages to grow the Gesneriads. :-)

A Formosa Smithiantha hybrid , hot color.

Perhaps this Chirita sclerophylla prefers cool weather.
