Sinningias outside the office

I have some Sinningias outside the office with the western sun exposure, it was 35°C there in this afternoon when I took these photos. Most Sinningia grows ok, but the flower quality is bad apart from these.

A mini Sinningia named after my friend, he grows this well, but seems a bit late to refresh the plant. :-)

Sinn. Pirate's Petite Angel

This Sinningia is a special of its dwarf size, similar size to the micro-mini Sinningia but without such heritage. I'm not sure yet if it's fertile or not. I just like it small.

Overheated Summer

Mini-Sinningias are still ok with the summer in Taiwan.

Making cross with existing beautiful Mini-Sinningia is a shortcut, but sometimes you get something common because most beautiful parents can easily breed beautiful offsprings as similar as the parents, but if you are looking for new creation ... you will not be satisfied with just beautiful but common stuff. So the value of hybridization is another story .....

Pirate's Mini-Sinningia

It has been 4 years since the first Pirate's Mini-Sinningia seedlings bloomed. With the luck, we got many new varieties that are pleasing to the eyes and the nice proportion between flower/foliage is the essence of the Pirate's. Happy Hybridizing !!!
