Time for Chinese New Year and it's also the time for the beginning of flowering season.

Codonanthe devosiana 'Pink'

I'm a big fan of trailing plants and the plants swaying in the air comforts me. Codonanthe is a small trailing gesneriad that I grow it for many years. This one is the pink flower version of Codonanthe devosiana. I can not get it very pink, maybe it's hot in Taiwan.

Foliage Variation

After a few months , the Smithiantha grows up day by day. It's the best time to enjoy the variation of foliage before the flowers emerge. The brightness and contrast of the veins are super during this period.

The first for the X'mas season

I have a few Smithianthas in bloom during Christmas. Merry X'mas and Happy New Year. The flowers of Smithiantha are very showy.

Primulina heterochroa 異色報春苣苔

Native in southern China, it is a new species which was announced in 2015. The flower is the icon of this plant because the yellow and bronze color is rare in Primulina family. The variegated foliage is the bonus.

Prachuap Khiri Khan

Travelling in Thailand is interesting and sometimes it comes with the surprise. We headed to a southern province which is called Prachuap Khiri Khan. Actually we went to a viewpoint to see the sunset and we had to climb up to the hill top first. On our way to the top, we found a cutie in bloom. Don't know what genera it is but a Gesneriad for sure. Finally we were happy with this little happiness and the sunset was amazing.

Cool & Sunny

It's the best season of the year. All plants are happy.

My own hybrid, it performs well during cooler days.

Codonanthe devosiana 'Pink' , not that pink so far , maybe it's not cool enough.

Thai hybrid , is always the brightest one in the the garden.
