Sinningia for you

I am not promoting Sinningia because the fun of growing Sinningia is its own reward.

It's reasonable to collect many varieties of Sinningia because the plant aspect as well as the characteristic is quite different within this genus. For me the most important is the renewable growth which makes Sinningia as an easy plant to handle with no hesitation.

As mentioned it's very possible to own too many Sinningia, one may become meaningfully picky when making collection. But one always has a free space for a micro miniature Sinningia. Please remember "Penny and penny laid up will be many" ... what a golden saying ! But when such situation does happen in front of you, a golden saying is a mere platitude. Now the poor growing skill may turn to be a favor to solve the dilemma.

Unfortunately, Sinningia is good at survivor games when the outside condition becomes bad. So I said the renewable growth is an excellent technique of Sinningia.

So ... Sinningia for you makes sense !?

Aeschynanthus flavidus

A very special species with bright yellow flower from Sarawak, precisely said it's from the region near Mulu to Brunei. My first impression of Aeschynanthus flavidus happened years ago when I saw its photo on the internet. Now I have the chance to see the real plant and take a photo. It's really beautiful.

Sinn. HCY's Persiphone

The HCY's mini Sinningia with large flower is always adorable. The inheritance of Sinn. speciosa enlarges the flower dimension meanwhile the mini Sinningia keeps the compact and neat foliage. HCY's Persiphone is a very nice variety from such excellent combinations.

Wow ... Calyx Double Sinningia !

Just take some photos of the calyx double Sinningia in the neighbor's garden. So good that I don't need to own them and I still have the different flowers to see from time to time. What a bargain deal !

Eucodonia Woolley Marrione x Hybrid1

I grow this plant from seed which was provided by an oversea friend. I guess the name "Woolley Marrione" equals to "Woolly Morrion" which is commonly known as a variety of Eucodonia andrieuxii. I did not ask for the information of the Hybrid1.
