Deinostigma tamiana & Smithiantha

This is the Smithiantha that I grow normally in May. These plants survive during the hot summer in Taipei and are now much bigger than those Smithiantha that I grow in September which are just sprouting.

Deinostigma tamiana is the new genera that I never remember, no key point for memory.

Growing Season

Finally, I have all my Smithiantha potted ... congratulation ! The season is just right for Sinningia ... warm in the daytime ... cool at night. I did not take care of them at all, they just bloom by their own way. See the weed in the pot.  XD

No more air conditioner ...

Rainy night and it's cool. Finally no more air conditioner is required for sleep.

The summer vacation comes to the end ? I hope so and I have a lot to prepare for the planting season.

Codonoboea sp. 'AG10-3'

In fact , I owned this cute plant a few years ago but I did not successfully grow it ... so sad. It is from the peninsula Malaysia where is home of many unusual Gesneriads. The flower is scented according to the introduction. The photos are courtesy of Francis Sua.

Episcia is the only one plant that I don't have to take care too much in this summer. But I need to re-pot them because they prefer new planting materials.

Sinn. HCY's Fox Tail

I have to confess that I did not grow it well ... Obviously it's a calyx double hybrid based on Sinningia lineata. It could be better as long as I offer bigger pot and fertilizer.
