Typical Kohleria's Flowers

dots .... many dots, big or micro dots ... lot of dots , this is why the Kohleria fascinates the Gesneriad growers. Wondering if any biologic research had been announced to explain why Kohleria blooms with dots ?  :-)

    I guess we will never find out why kohleria flowers have dots :)
    But they are so sute,sweet and fluffy and that's why we love them.
